Cobras Fall to Saints

GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Coker men's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to former Conference Carolinas foe Limestone College on Saturday (Mar. 22) in men's collegiate volleyball action.

The Cobras committed 22 attack and 11 service errors in the match, which would prove to be the deciding factor in the Saints' victory. Limestone would take the straight-set victory with scores of 25-14, 25-16 and 25-16, respectively.

Leading Coker offensively was Leshon Alexander and Artur Cabral with six kills apiece. Luke Hansen added a team-high five digs, while Ricardo Ferrer handed out 15 assists.

The Cobras will return to action on Tuesday (Mar. 25) when they host the Bulldogs of Barton College in their final home game of the season. The match is slated for 7 p.m. start in the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
