Jones Does it Again!

Orangeburg, SC: Coker finishes up the weekend taking 10th place at the Sharonda Colman Invitational. Donovan Jones had a fantastic day at the track as he broke a school record for the second meet in a row.

TOP PERFORMERS:

Jeffrey Stiles: 4th place in the 200m.

Donovan Jones: 4th place in the 400m.

Michael Wilson: 8th place in the High Jump.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

100m Prelims:

• Karmari Hudson took 13th with a final time of 11.11.
• Isaiah Reaves took 22nd with a final time of 11.29.
• Phillip Davis took 43rd with a final time of 12.04s
• Ricardo Nuevo-Serrano took 44th with a final time of 12.08s.

200m:

• Jeffrey Stiles took 4th place with a final time of 22.11s. He scored 5 points for the team.
• Isaiah Reaves took 15th place with a final time of 23.01s.

400m:

• Donovan Jones took 4th place with a final time of 48.61s. Jones scored 6 points for the team. He also set a new school record for the Cobras, breaking the former time by .44s.
• Jeffrey Stiles took 11th place with a final time of 49.95s.

800m:

• Cody Stewart took 24th place with a final time of 2:16.34s.
• Josh Ziegler took 25th place with a final time of 2:20.67s.

Discus Throw:

• Jaden Wright took 30th with a final throw of 18.93m

High Jump:

• Michael Wilson took 8th place with a final jump of 1.85m. He scored 1 point for the team.
• Braeden Rasco took 17th place with a final jump of 1.65m.

Long Jump:

• Braeden Rasco took 32nd place with a final jump of 5.58m.
• Tyler Wanzer took 36th place with a final jump of 5.13m.

Shot Put:

• Jaden Wright took 20th place with a final throw of 8.32m.

Triple Jump:

• Tyriq Gause took 10th with a final jump of 12.77m.

4x100m relay:

• Isaiah Reaves, Donovan Jones, Kamari Hudson, and Jeffrey Stiles combined to take 5th place with a final time of 41.5s. They scored the team 4 points.
