HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker University men's tennis team fell to Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday (Mar. 11) in South Atlantic Conference action by a score of 6-1.
Lenoir-Rhyne won two out of three doubles matches for the doubles point, before winning five out of six singles matches on the day.
Hunter Horton and Isaac MacMillan posted a 6-4 win over Paul Lenz and Lewis Scott at No. 3 doubles, before Horton picked up the lone win for the Cobras at No. 3 singles defeating Alex Hyman 7-6, 6-2.
The Cobras (6-1, 1-1 SAC) are back at home on Friday (Mar. 13) to take on Ashland in a non-conference contest. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
