SUMTER, S.C. - The Coker College men's tennis team continued their fall season by traveling to the Palmetto Tennis Center on Thursday (Sept. 27) for day one of the ITA Southeast Regional Championship. Hunter Horton and Melwin Krall both earned victories in singles play for the Navy and Gold.
Krall started his tournament with a tough 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 decision over Brandon Sweeney of Francis Marion. Next, Horton defeated Diego Agudelo of Barton by a score of 5-7, 6-2, 6-0.
The Cobras will be back in action tomorrow (Sept. 28) for day two of the ITA Southeast Regional Championship at the Palmetto Tennis Center. The tournament is set to begin at 8 AM.
