HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker men's tennis picked up a non-conference win when they defeated #41 Young Harris 7-2 on Tuesday (Mar. 8).
The home team swept doubles play 3-0, with Henrik Hellbe and Simon Bergbon picking up an 8-4 win at No. 1, Mark Watt and Tom Sizeland winning 8-5 at No. 2 and William Marrafao and Felix Schweyer winning 8-6 at No. 3.
Marrafao (6-2, 6-4), Sizeland (6-4, 6-3), Hellbe (3-6, 7-6, 11-9) and Schweyer (6-3, 6-1) also picked up wins in singles.
The Cobras are back in action Thursday (Mar. 10) when they travel to Lincoln Memorial for a South Atlantic Conference showdown. The action is set for a 2:00 p.m. start.
