Coker Men’s Tennis Signs Horton for 2016-17

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head men's tennis coach Billy Simpson announced today the addition of Hunter Horton to the 2016-17 roster.

Horton attends Lugoff Elgin High School in Lugoff, S.C. where he is a member of the tennis team for the Demons. Horton was an all-state selection his sophomore season and is No. 15 in the latest USTA state rankings.

"The first thing that I noticed about Hunter was his strong work ethic," said Simpson. "I have enjoyed watching this young man rise through the junior tennis rankings and finish in the top tier of this upcoming graduating class. We are excited to see what Hunter will bring to our team and look forward to his outstanding career here at Coker."

Horton is the son of Pam and Todd Horton. He plans on majoring in sports management.
