Cobras Fall to No. 36 Royals

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's tennis team lost its South Atlantic Conference match to the nationally ranked No. 36 Queens University of Charlotte Royals on Thursday (Apr. 2) afternoon, 7-2.

Picking up the wins for the Cobras were William Marrafao and Dominic Allan. Marrafao won a hard fought battle at No. 1 singles. He took home the victory with scores of 7-6 (7-3), 6-3. Allan's victory came at No. 6 singles. He defeated his opponent in straight sets 8-0.

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday (Apr. 3) when they host the Eagles of Carson-Newman University. The SAC match is set to begin at 10 a.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
