Cobras Top Bears 5-4 for Second Straight Win

HICKORY, N.C. –The Coker men's tennis team picked up a 5-4 win over SAC foe Lenoir-Rhyne University on Tuesday (Mar. 24) afternoon. The win is the Cobras second in as many matches.

Mark Watt and Felix Schweyer would notch Coker's lone doubles win with an 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles. The duo would also pick up straight-set wins in the singles portion of play, with Watt winning 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, while Schweyer collected a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles. Simon Bergbom tallied a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles and Dominic Allan picked up a tough 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 at No. 6 singles.

The Navy and Yellow will look to add to its winning streak on Friday (Mar. 27) when they travel to Mars Hill University for a SAC contest with the Lions. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
