WINGATE, N.C. – The No. 35 nationally ranked Coker men's tennis team fell to the Bulldogs of Wingate University 5-4 on Saturday (Mar. 1) in South Atlantic Conference tennis action.

Andre Staab and James Corfield were victorious at No. 1 doubles for the Cobras. Staab also improve to 3-0 in SAC competition with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles. Rounding out the wins for the Navy and Yellow were Tom Sizeland at No. 2 singles and Martin Moncayo at No. 5 singles.

The Cobras will be back in action tomorrow (Mar. 2) when they travel to USC Aiken for non-conference match with the Pacers. First serve is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
