HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's and women's tennis teams will host a trifecta of Conference Carolinas tennis matches this weekend. The first match of the weekend will be on Saturday (March 2) against Lees-McRae College, followed by a match versus King University on Sunday (March 3) and finally a match on Monday (March 4) against Barton College.

Both Cobra teams are coming off wins against Johnson C. Smith on Feb. 24. The men's team defeated the Golden Bulls 8-1, while the women picked up a 6-3 win over JCSU.

Freshman Tom Sizeland leads the men's team. He is undefeated in his five singles matches, defeating regional and nationally ranked opponents from Lander, Francis Marion and Anderson.

Leading the Coker women is the doubles tandem of Faith Baxley and Brittanny Yando. They are 2-2 when playing at No. 3 doubles. In singles play, freshman Jessi Campos is 2-1 at the No. 3 spot.

These will be the first conference matches for the Cobras this season.

Saturday and Sunday's matches will begin at 11 a.m. and Monday's match will start at 2 p.m.
