Misenheimer, NC- The Cobra Men’s tennis team losing streak continued as they were downed by the Falcon’s of Pfeiffer University on Wednesday afternoon by a score of 8-1. The Cobras had no answer for the doubles of Pfeiffer as all three Cobra teams were defeated by scores of 8-3, 8-3, and 8-1.

In singles, the Falcons continued to prey on the Cobras as they took 5 out of six singles matches. Juan Vallejo-Gonzalez (Quito, Ecuador) picked up his second victory of the year defeating Frank Pouchet in straight sets 7-6 (4), 6-2.

The Cobras will now take a much needed week off for spring break, and will return to action on March 11th as they travel to take on Big South division one opponent Charleston Southern.
