Men’s Soccer Falls at Home to Queens

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College men's soccer team dropped their home conference opener against the visiting Royals of Queens University 4-1 on Saturday (Sept. 29) night.

The Cobras took an early lead off of a strike by Joao Silva, but Queens followed it with four unanswered goals to close the first half.

Silva led the attack with four shots, while Christian Provenzano and Jacob Simonis each recorded two. Lucas Miquel Castrillo, Steffen Husum, Etzkiel Martinez, Kyle Marcus, and Matt Trimby all had one shot to round out the Coker attack. Zach Watson two saves in tonight's match.

The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 3) when they host Lenoir-Rhyne at 7 PM.
