ROCK HILL, S.C. – Coker College men's soccer forward Aladdin Elfares has been named AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced today. 

Elfares, a junior from Hallsberg, Sweden, played a role in four of Coker's six goals last week as it ended the season on a three game win streak. He recorded a goal and three assists as Coker picked up a 5-0 victory over Barton. In the final game of the season for the Cobras, he recorded three shots in a 1-0 victory over Carson-Newman. Elfares' six goals and five assists on the season top the Cobras roster. The award is his first Player of the Week honor this season. 

The physical education major is the son of Mona Awdi and Mohammed Elfares.
