Cobras Looking to Dethrone Royals on Senior Day

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team is set to take on the visiting Queens University of Charlotte Royals on Saturday at 7 p.m. in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. Live stats and video can be found at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras come into the matchup sporting a 3-2 record at the friend confines of the Coker Athletic Field.

Aladdin Elfares and Alvaro Urena continue to lead the way offensively for the Navy and Gold, eaching finding the back of the net seven times this season. Both players rank fifth in the South Atlantic Conference in goals scored, while Elfares's 15 points on the season rank him 11th.

In goal, Michael Ritterbeck has collected 48 saves in 920 minutes.

The Royals travel to Hartsville with a 6-6-1 overall record and a 3-5-1 SAC record. They are led by the duo of Ryan Ejezie and Corey Brown. Ejezie is tied for third in the SAC with nine goals, while Brown is tied for second with nine assists.

Saturday will be senior day for the nine seniors on the Coker men's soccer roster. Before opening kick seniors David Arensdorf, Jose Herencia, Kohl Thompson, Kaan Sen, Rohan Francis, Jarrian Cutrer, Connor Norton-Baker, Kyndle Cobb and Aquib Sharif will be recognized.

Opening kick is set for 7 p.m. with the senior day ceremony set to begin at 6:45 p.m. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
