WILSON, N.C.- The Coker men's soccer team battled through an overtime affair with Barton College for a 3-2 win on Tuesday (Sept. 27).

Two Barton goals in the first half got the Bulldogs out in front before a goal in the final minute of the first half by Aladdin Elfares from Jaedon Williamson cut the lead in half. Alvaro Urena tied the game in the 72nd minute, and the game headed to extra time from there.

Just 90 seconds into extra time, Elfares found Urena for the game-winner and the Navy and Gold were able to pick up the road win.

The Cobras return home on Saturday (Oct. 1) for a South Atlantic Conference matchup with Mars Hill. The match is slated for a 7:00 p.m. start at the Coker College athletic field. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
