Cobras and No. 21 Eagles Square Off in Senior Day SAC Showdown

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team will back in action on Saturday (Oct. 31) to take on the visiting Carson-Newman University Eagles in their final regular season match. Live stats and broadcast will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The duo of Ian Fellenz and Alvaro Urena lead the Coker offense with three goals each. Also, Aladdin Elfares and Connor Norton-Baker have chipped in with two goals apiece. Between the pipes, Kyndle Cobb's 60 saves is sixth best in the conference.

The Eagles travel to Hartsville on a seven match-winning streak, a 13-2-1 overall and 8-2 in conference record. They were ranked No. 21 in the nation in the latest NSCAA Coaches poll and No. 3 in the Southeast regional rankings. They are led by the duo of Tom Read and Sindre Welo. Both have seven goals this season, while Read also has a conference-high 11 assists.

Fellenz is the lone senior on the Coker roster and he will be recognized before the match begins.

Kick-off is slated for 4:30 p.m. at the Coker College soccer fields. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
