Cobras Drop Midweek SAC Road Contest to Bears

HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker College men's soccer team fell to the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne University on Wednesday night (Oct. 21) 2-0 in a South Atlantic Conference road showdown. 

The Bears would use a goal in the 37th minute and the 85th minute to propel them to the win. 

Alvaro Urena led the charge offensively for the Cobras. He picked up four shots, three of them on goal. Jacob Simonis and Connor Norton-Baker recorded two and one shot on goal as well. Between the pipes, Kyndle Cobb and Michael Ritterbeck combined for four saves. 

The Cobras will play their final regular season road game on Saturday (Oct. 24) when they travel to Queens University of Charlotte to battle the Royals. First kick is set for 4:30 p.m.
