HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team fell to the No. 8 nationally-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs 2-0 on Wednesday night (Oct. 7) in South Atlantic Conference action.

Wingate would score two goals in the first half to take the 2-0 lead as the teams headed to the locker room for halftime. The Cobras were unable to cut into the Bulldog lead in the final 45 minutes, leaving the score at 2-0 in favor of Wingate.

Rohan Francis and Alvaro Urena picked up a shot on goal apiece to lead the Coker offense. Kyndle Cobb registered five saves in goal.

The Navy and Gold will be back in action on Sunday (Oct. 11) when they travel to Tusculum College to take on the Pioneers in a SAC matchup. First kick is set for 4 p.m.
