Cobras Drop SAC Contest to Indians

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's soccer team fell to the visiting Catawba College Indians 3-1 on Saturday (Sept. 26) in South Atlantic Conference action.

The Indians would strike first with goals in the sixth and 10th minute to pull ahead 2-0. Ian Fellenz would cut the Catawba lead in half with a goal in the 16th minute. The score would remain 2-1 as the teams headed to the locker rooms at half. The second half would see the Indians extend their lead to 3-1 with a goal in 56th minute.

Fellenz led the Coker offense with one goal. In goal, Kyndle Cobb recorded five saves.

The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Sept. 30) when they take on the Barton College Bulldogs at home at 7 p.m.
