Cobras Set to Tangle with Wolves in SAC Match

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker Cobra men's soccer team will be back in action on Wednesday (Sept. 23) for a home match against South Atlantic Conference foe Newberry College. Live stats and video of the match will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras enter the match in the middle of a four-game home stand. Alvaro Urena currently leads the men with two goals, while Aladdin Elfares and Connor Norton-Baker have each found the back of the net once. Kyndle Cobb anchors the defense for Coker. He currently ranks second in the SAC with 26 saves in goal.

Newberry comes to town sporting a 1-4 overall record and a 0-2 record in conference. Ky Tyler and Davis Bryan lead the Wolves with a goal apiece, while Brad Dixon has made 13 saves and has a 2.77 goals against average.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Coker Athletic Field, following the women's match at 4:30 p.m. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
