Four Cobra Men's Soccer Players Named All-Conference

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Four members of the Coker College men's soccer team have been selected as all-conference performers by the South Atlantic Conference, it was announced today.

Leading the way was midfielder Jordan Snell, who was tabbed as a first-team selection, while forward Noah Gulley was named to the second-team. Defender Fernando Bedoya and midfielder Tony Quiroz were both named to the All-SAC honorable mention team.

Snell, a South Atlantic Conference honorable mention selection in 2013, had a breakout season for the Cobras. He led the team with six goals and added three assists for 15 points. Snell's six goals and 15 points were good for seventh and eighth in the conference, respectively.

A senior from Palm Bay, Fla., Snell is a physical education and sport studies major with a concentration in physical fitness programming. He is the son of Mary and John Snell.

Gulley, a first-time all-conference selection, was a force to be reckoned with for the Cobras this season. He scored three goals and had six points to earn second-team honors.

A sophomore from Pawleys Island, S.C., Gulley is a business administration major. He is the son of Janet and Gary Gulley.

Bedoya, a first team All-SAC selection in 2013 and a preseason All-SAC pick, led a Coker defense that posted a 1.36 goals against average and had two shutouts. This is Bedoya's fourth consecutive all-conference selection.

Hailing from Miami, Fla., Bedoya is a senior physical education and sport studies major with a concentration in sports management. He is the son of Rosa Carmona and Fernando Bedoya.

Quiroz, a second team All-SAC selection in 2013 and a preseason All-SAC honoree, was the mastermind in the midfield for the Cobras this season. He scored one goal and had two assists on the year.

A senior from Miami, Fla., Quiroz is a business administration major. He is the son of Edues and Judith Quiroz.
