Cobras Earn NSCAA All-Southeast Region Honors

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College men's soccer players Daniel Jackson and Fernando Bedoya have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America 2013 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer All-Southeast Region Team. This is the third consecutive year that Bedoya has earned NSCAA All-Southeast Region honors.

Jackson, a senior from Silver Springs, Md., was named to the third team as a forward. He was also a Daktronics second team All-Southeast Region pick and a first team All-South Atlantic Conference selection. He led the Cobras with 14 goals, a new single-season team record, and added a pair of assists. Jackson's 14 goals and 30 points were also good enough for second and third in the conference, respectively.

Jackson is a computer science major at Coker. He is the son of Toni Moore and Clinton Davis.

Bedoya, a junior from Miami, Fla., was also named to the third team as a defender. He was a first team All-South Atlantic Conference selection this season. He anchored a Coker defense that led the conference with seven shutouts. He also tallied two assists.

Bedoya is a physical education and sport studies major with a concentration in sports management. He is the son of Rosa Carmona and Fernando Bedoya.
