#11 Coker Stays Unbeaten in Conference Play

GAFFNEY, S.C. – Junior Carlos Recinos (Houston, Texas) netted his second game-winning goal of the week, as the No. 11 Coker men's soccer team stayed unbeaten in Conference Carolinas play with a 1-0 win over Limestone College on Saturday.

Recinos blasted a pass from Stephen Scrivens (Tampa, Fla.) past the Saints' Kyle Karagitz from 35 yards out in the 59th minute of play to give the Cobras the win. The goal was Recinos' 10th of the year and the seventh game-winning goal for the junior.

Junior goalkeeper James Sweeney (Huntingtown, Md.) earned the clean sheet victory in the net. 

The Cobras improve to 12-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play with the win, their 11th in a row.

Coker will look to stay perfect in Conference play as they return to the field on Wednesday at Barton College. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
