HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College men's lacrosse player Shane Wilson has been named the Astrotruf South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced today. 

Wilson, a senior from Westbury, N.Y., scored four goals and dished out one assist in the Coker men's lacrosse team's 12-9 win over Lincoln Memorial University, clinching the No. 4 seed in the upcoming South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship.

On the season, Wilson has a team-high 47 goals on the season to go along with four assists. His 47 goals are not only good enough for tops in the SAC, but are a single-season Coker record. Wilson is also fourth in the conference with 51 total points this season. He was named to the preseason All-SAC second team at the attack position. This is the first Offensive Player of the Week award he has earned this season.

He is a sports management major and is the son of Eileen Wilson.
