TAMPA, Fla. – The Coker Cobras suffered a 17-7 loss to the University of Tampa Spartans on Sunday (March 3) in collegiate men's lacrosse.

Ryan Maurer and Timothy Smith each scored a pair of goals to lead the Cobras, while Keith LaClair, Mike Martiello and Andy Campos recorded a single goal each. John Bretton and Steve Marciano each handed out an assist for Coker as well.  

Josh Masciarelli and Tim Ryan combined for 16 saves in the net for the Cobras, with Masciarelli making 12 saves and Ryan making four.

The Cobras will be back on the field on Wednesday (March 6) at Limestone College at 3 p.m.
