Cobras Take Third in Coker Men's Fall Challenge

CAMDEN, S.C. - The Coker College men's golf team shot a final round team score of 288 (+8) at the Coker Men's Fall Challenge on Tuesday (Sept. 11) at Camden Country Club. The Cobras compiled a two-day team score of 574 (+16), good for a third place finish and 10 shots shots back of tournament winner, Limestone.

Wanjoo Lee had another solid showing as he carded 17 consecutive pars en route to a 71 (+1) finish with a total score of 141 (+1), putting him in a tie for sixth place. Ethan Cairns bounced back on day two with a 69 (-1) to give him a final score of 144 (+4) and an 18th place finish. Daniel Graves fired off a 78 (+8) following his first round 69 (-1) to give him a total score of 147 (+7) for a 29th place finish. Haydon Norwood recorded a 72 (+2), while Zachary Herold shot a 76 (+6) to round out the tournament for the Cobras. Both Herold and Norwood finished in a tie for 30th with a total score of 148 (+8).

The Cobras are set to hit the course again on Monday (Sept. 17) and Tuesday (Sept. 18) for the Queen's Invitational, weather permitting.
