CAMDEN, S.C. - The Coker College men's golf team teed it up for the first time this season on a weather-shortened day one of the Coker Men's Fall Challenge on Monday (Sept. 10) at Camden Country Club. Day one, which was originally scheduled for 36 holes, was halted by the threat of weather shortly after the start of round two. The second round has officially been deemed a wash and the Coker Men's Fall Challenge has been shortened to a 36-hole contest, with the final 18 being played tomorrow starting at 8:30 a.m.

The Cobras compiled a team score of 280 (+6) in the opening round of what started out as a beautiful day on the course to put them firmly in a tie for third place, six shots back of the leader Limestone.

Daniel Graves paced the Cobras with a 69 (-1), good for 6th place individually, while also leading the field in par-three scoring with an average score of 2.60. Wanjoo Lee was not far behind as he carded a 70 (E) on the day which saw him bounce back from a rough start to close out the round at -3 over the final seven holes to put himself in a tie for 10th. Zachary Herold fired off a 72 (+2) in his first round, while Ethan Cairns and Haydon Norwood closed out their rounds with a 75 (+5) and 76 (+6), respectively.

The Cobras will hit the course again tomorrow to play the final 18 holes of the Coker Men's Fall Challenge. Full results from the action can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
