ROCK HILL, S.C.- Coker College men's golf team member Wanjoo Lee has been named to the Second-Team All-South Atlantic Conference the league announced.
Lee is a junior at Coker and is currently ranked the 62nd-best golfer in the Division II ranks. The Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tabago native has played in all eight of the Navy and Gold's tournaments in the 2017-18 season, leading the way for the Cobras in average scoring at 72.15, rounds in the 60's with three, and 11 rounds of par or better.
Wanjoo collected an Individual Championship at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate back in October and has finished inside the top-20 in seven of his eight tournaments played. Collectively, Lee has carded 20-rounds on the season with a low-round score of 68 coming at the Spring Kick-Off Intercollegiate at the Fleming Island Golf Club in Orange Park, Fla.
Gearing up for the 2018 South Atlantic Conference Championship, the sports management major seeks to defend his Individual Championship from the 2016-17 season.
