Men's Golf Driving for Solid Play at 2018 South Atlantic Conference Championships

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College men's golf program will head to Cobbs Glenn Golf Club in Anderson, S.C. for their shot at the South Atlantic Conference Championship Sunday – Tuesday, April 8-10. 

Heading into Play on Sunday, junior Wanjoo Lee will seek to defend his reigning Individual Championship from the 2016-17 season. Lee carded back-to-back rounds of one-under par to claim the Individual Title last season. He'll attempt to make it three-straight seasons the Cobras have had an Individual Title at the South Atlantic Conference Championships. 

Coming off of an eighth place finish at the Bearcat Golf Classic, Coker's Wanjoo Lee and Zachary Herold led the way for the Navy and Gold. Lee signed off on rounds of 72, 73, and 71 for a team-leading cumulative score of 216 and finished 16th in individual play. Herold followed suit with a 73, 74, and 70 finishing tied for 17th.

Ethan Cairns and Daniel Graves finished within one shot of each other with three-round scores of 223 and 224 respectively. Nicolas Parra rounded out play for the Cobras with a tournament score of 231.
