Lee and Herold Punch in Top-20 Finishes, Cobras Place Eighth at Bearcat Golf Classic

GREENWOOD, S.C.- The Coker College men's golf team played three rounds at the Greenwood Country Club and carded a team score of 879 for the Bearcat Golf Classic. The Cobras wrapped up play on Tuesday, March 27 with an eighth place finish with a team score of 294. 

Wanjoo Lee and Zachary Herold led the way for the Navy and Gold. Lee signed off on rounds of 72 (E), 73 (+1) and 71 (-1) for a team-leading cumulative score of 216 and finished 16th individually. Herold followed suit with a 73 (+1), 74 (+2) and two-under third round of 70 to finish tied for 17th.

Ethan Cairns and Daniel Graves finished within one shot of each other with three-round scores of 223 and 224 respectively.

Nicolas Parra rounded out play for Coker with a cumulative score of 231 from the Bearcat Golf Classic.

The Navy and Gold's next tournament will be the South Atlantic Conference Championships held at Cobbs Glenn Golf Club in Anderson, S.C., April 8-10. Results from the tournament can be found by visiting www.cokercobras.com.
