Cobras Sit in Fourth Heading into Final Round at the Hargett Memorial Invitational

MONROE, N.C.- The Coker College men's golf team traveled to Monroe, N.C. to take on Wingate University's Hargett Memorial Invitational on Sunday, March 10. Coker's Wanjoo Lee is tied for seventh individually heading into the final round, as the Cobras are in fourth as a team at Monroe Country Club. 

After the first round of play, Coker shot a team score of 295 (+7) and shot a second round score of 290 (+2), to sit in fourth place heading into the final round of play.

Wanjoo Lee led the way for the Cobras in the opening rounds, powering a two-under, 70 and one-over 73, which has him tied for seventh place in individual play.

Ethan Cairns and Daniel Graves are also keeping pace with the top-15 in the field. Cairns shot an even-par 72 in round one and a 74 (+2) in round two, sitting in 13th. Graves fired a three-over, 75 and even-par 72, to be tied for 14th.

Nicolas Parra and Zachary Herold bookended play for the Navy and Gold. Parra resides tied for 19th individually with rounds of 78 (+6) and a one-under 71.  Herold fired off rounds of 79 (+7) and 77 (+5).
