Cobras Place Seventh, Lee and Graves Finish Inside Top-10 at Spring Kick-Off Invitational

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College men's golf program will bring home a seventh place finish at the Spring Kick-Off Invitational after completing rounds two and three at Fleming Island Golf Club on Tuesday (Feb. 13) afternoon. Wanjoo Lee and Daniel Graves finished inside the top-10 in individual play in the Cobras' first tournament of 2018. 

Coker shot rounds of 282, 291, and 293 to finish with an 866, 14 shots over par. Wanjoo Lee led the way for the Cobras shooting even par for the tournament. Lee carded a first round three-under, 68, second round 74 (+3), and final round 71 (E). Lee's efforts tied him for fourth individually with a three round total of 213, even for the tournament.

Daniel Graves wasn't far behind Lee, posting a first round 71 (E), second round 69 (-2), and final round 74 (+3) for a two-day total of 214, placing him tied for ninth individually.  

Ethan Cairns and Nicolas Parra helped bookend play for the Navy and Gold. Cairns carded a first round even par, 71, with Parra just a shot behind. Cairns finished out play with rounds of 73 (+2) and 79 (+8) to finish with a 223 total. Parra signed off on a second round 75 (+4) and final round 78 (+7) for a tournament total of 225.  

Coker's next tournament will be held Monday and Tuesday March 5-6 at the Green Valley Country Club, as the Cobras will host the Southern Tide Intercollegiate in Greenville, S.C.
