Coker Heads into Clubhouse in Third at NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview

CONOVER, N.C.- The Coker College men's golf team went into the clubhouse at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview in third place as Wanjoo Lee and Zachary Herold surged into the top-10 and Ethan Cairns and Nicolas Parra sit in the top-25 in individual play. The Cobras capped off round one and shot a team score of 296 at the Rock Barn Golf Course on Monday (Oct. 9). 

Coming off an individual championship at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate last week (Oct. 3-4), Wanjoo Lee has driven himself inside the top-10 again. With a score of 73 for the first round, Lee is tied for eighth place. Teammate Zachary Herold also shot a 73 for the opening round and sits tied for eighth as well.

Ethan Cairns and Nicolas Parra signed off on a score of 75 on their scorecards and are currently tied for 23rd. Daniel Graves rounded out the Cobras with an 82 for the day.

Round two of the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview will conclude on Tuesday (Oct. 10) afternoon at the Rock Barn Golf Course. Results from the match can be found by visiting www.cokercobras.com
