HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College men's golf team will travel to Hickory, N.C. to compete in the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview at Rock Barn Golf Club Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 9-10). Fans can find results of the tournament by visiting www.cokercobras.com.
The Cobras are coming off of a third-place finish in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate where the team shot a collective 585. The NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview will be the third tournament of the fall season for Coker.
Wanjoo Lee took care of business for the Navy and Gold this past weekend at the Lion's Paw Golf Course, coming home with the hardware after being crowned the Individual Champion at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate with a 36-hole total of 140 (-4). The title would be Lee's second in his career at Coker.
Zachary Herold and Ethan Cairns both broke the top-20 in scoring as well. Herold shot three over and finished tied for 14th, while Cairns posted a 148 to finish tied for 18th. Nicolas Para and Daniel Graves rounded out play for the Navy and Gold with scores of 154 and 157 respectively.
The two-day NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview will be held on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 9-10) at the Rock Barn Golf Course in Hickory, N.C.
