Men’s Golf in 3rd Place After Round One at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

SUNSET BEACH, N.C.- After the opening round at the Lion's Paw Golf Course on Monday (Oct. 2), the Coker College men's golf team shot a collective 292 (+3) and sits in third place in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. Wanjoo Lee draws a one-under 71 to lead Cobras in the clubhouse into round two. 

Lee worked the course to his advantage on Monday, firing a first round 71 (-1) to lead Coker into the clubhouse. Lee's efforts have him tied for fourth in individual play after day one.

Ethan Cairns, Nicolas Parra, and Zachary Herold all played well, placing inside the top-30 in individual scoring. Cairns fired off an even 72, while Parra put together a first round 74 (+2), and Herold collected a 75 (+3). Daniel Graves rounded out the Cobras with an 81.
