Cobras Men's Golf Seeks Second Championship of 2017

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker College men's golf team will travel to Ocean Isle, N.C. to compete in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate championship at the Lion's Paw Golf Club Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 2-3). Fans can find results of the tournament by visiting www.cokercobras.com

The Cobras are coming off of a championship at the Queens University Collegiate Invitational where the team shot a collective three-day total 852. The Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate will be the second tournament of the fall season for Coker.

With the help of Zachary Herold, Nicolas Parra, Ethan Cairns, Wanjoo Lee, and Daniel Graves, the Navy and Gold will hit the Lion's Paw Golf Course with another title in sight. While playing in the QUCI, Herold posted a first round 65 (-6) to pace the Cobras, as Parra followed suit with rounds of 71, 70, and 73 for a three-round total of 213.

The two-day Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate will be held on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 2-3) at the Lion's Paw Golf Course in Ocean Isle, N.C.
