Cobras Sit in Fourteenth Going Into Final Round At NCAA Regionals

MUSCLE SHOALS, ALA. – The Coker College men's golf team shot a team score of 303 on day two of the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional Championship Tournament. The Cobras have a 36-hole team score of 601 and are in a tie for fourteenth place with 18 holes remaining.

The senior duo of Will Bundy and Taylor Ingle continued their consistent play for the Cobras, Bundy firing a round of 74 on day two, while Ingle signed off on a round of 75. Bundy is in a tie for 24th on the individual leaderboard, while Ingle is in a tie for 36th. Wanjoo Lee and Ethan Cairns both have 36-hole scores of 156, Lee shooting a second round 81, while Cairns carded his second-straight round of 78. Daniel Graves made the biggest leap of the day, improving 10 shots from day one, shooting 76 in the second round.

University of West Florida is atop the team leaderboard, after rounds of 286 and 279. Chandler Blanchet of West Florida is the individual overnight leader after shooting a second round 68.

The final round for the Cobras will begin at 8:20 a.m. off hole number 10. The top-seven teams and the top-two individuals from non-qualifying teams will qualify for the NCAA National Championship Tournament.
