Cobras Tied For Tenth After Opening Round of NCAA Regionals

MUSCLE SHOALS, ALA. – The Coker College men's golf team is in a four-way tie for tenth place after shooting an opening round team score of 298 on day one of the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional Championship Tournament. 

Will Bundy led the way for the Navy and Golf, shooting an opening round score of even-par 72. Bundy is in a tie for 17th on the individual leaderboard. Taylor Ingle was just a stroke behind, signing off on a round of 73, leaving him in a tie for 27th on the leaderboard. Wanjoo Lee carded an opening round of 75, with Ethan Cairns shot 78. Daniel Graves rounded things out for the Cobras, shooting 86 in round one. 

Lynn University shot 284 (-4) in round one, taking a two-shot lead into the second round. Chandler Blanchet of West Florida is the individual overnight leader, after shooting a round of 66. 

The Cobras will begin round two on Tuesday (May 9) at noon on hole number 10.
