Bundy Paces Cobras at UNG Fall Invitational

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Coker College men's golf team shot a final round 289 at the University of North Georgia Fall Invitational. Their closing round left them in a tie for 14th place and with a 906 tournament score.

Leading the way was Will Bundy. Bundy closed with final round 66, leaving him a 215 (-1) 54-hole score and a 19th place finish. His score is also tied for the second lowest round in Coker men's golf history. Jonathan Sundstrom also pieced together an excellent final round, carding a 68. He finished with a tournament score of 225. Blake Baysden fired a final round 76, leaving him with two-day score of 228. Wanjoo Lee and Ethan Cairns rounded out the Coker traveling five with rounds of 79 and 85. Lee finished with a score of 242 in his tournament debut, while Cairns tallied a score of 246 for the 54-hole event.

Lee University took home the team title, while Andrew Hall of Carson-Newman University was the individual champion.

The Cobras will have a quick turnaround as they travel to Tazewell, Tenn. for the State Farm Intercollegiate beginning on Oct. 12.
