Cobras in Fourteenth After Day One of Aflac/Cougar Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Coker College men's golf team shot rounds of 302 and 296 on day one of the Cougar Invitational, leaving them with a team score of 598 and in 14th place going into the final 18 holes.

Will Bundy led the way for the Navy and Gold with rounds of 71 and 73 for a tournament score of 144. He is in 18th place individually. Daniel Graves signed off on rounds of 76 and 75 for a 151 36-hole score. Blake Baysden and Jonathan Sundstrom carded rounds of 78 and 74 for a 152 opening day score. Niclas Heino rounded out the Coker traveling five with rounds of 77 and 80 for a 157 total.

Lee University is atop the team leaderboard after posting a team score of 563. Francisco Oliveria of Point University is the individual overnight leader after rounds of 70 and 67.

The Cobras will tee off from 8:55-9:35 a.m. on hole 10 on Tuesday (Sept. 22) morning.
