KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team will start their 2015 spring season on Monday (Feb. 16) at the Newberry College Invitational. The two-day tournament hosted by the Newberry Wolves will be played at the historic Ocean Course on Kiawah Island.

Sophomore Will Bundy leads the traveling five for Coker. Bundy had an all-conference caliber fall season, after finishing with a scoring average of 74 through four tournaments. Freshmen Jonathan Sundstrom and Alex Rios are next in line after finishing the fall with scoring averages of 75.2 and 75.7. Juniors John Duke and Blake Baysden round out the starting five for the Cobras. Duke and Baysden recorded scoring averages of 77.3 and 77.5 during their fall campaigns.

Coker will be one of five South Atlantic Conference teams in the 17 team field.

Tee times will begin Monday (Feb. 14) morning at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island.
