Coker Men’s Golf Claims Fourteenth at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team finished fourteenth in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate with rounds of 308 and 302 for a two-day total of 610.

The men were led by sophomore Will Bundy and freshman Jonathan Sundstrom who fired rounds of 77 and 72 to finish with a tournament total of 150. Freshman Alex Rios was next with a final round of 77 to finish at 153 for the 36-holes. Junior John Duke and Blake Baysden finished with two-day totals of 157 and 159, after closing rounds of 76 and 77.

Mars Hills College took home the team title with a two-day total of three under 573. Wingate's Tyler Stone took home the individual medalist honors with rounds of 69 and 68 on his way to a seven under 137 total for the tournament.

The men will be back in action at the Matt Dyas Invitational in Carrolton, Ga. on October 29.
