Coker Men Set to Compete in Aflac/Cougar Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ga. –The Coker College men's golf team is back in action as they head to the Aflac/Cougar Invitational in Columbus, Ga. The 54-hole event hosted by Columbus State University will be played on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 29-30) at the Country Club of Columbus.

The starting five for the Cobras is led by junior John Duke, who registered a top 15 finish individually in the season opener at Kiawah. Junior Blake Baysden and sophomore Will Bundy will also be making the trip to Columbus. The freshman duo of Alex Rios and Jonathan Sundstrom round out the lineup for the Cobras.

The Navy and Yellow have played the 6,515 yard par 71 venue well in the past with top eight finishes in each of the last two seasons.

Shotgun start tee times will begin Monday morning at the Country Club of Columbus.
