Coker Men's Golf to Hit the Links at Kiawah Island Invitational

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team kicks off its 2014-15 season at the Kiawah Island Invitational hosted by USC Aiken. The 36-hole, two-day tournament will be played on Monday and Tuesday (Sept.15-16) at the Cougar Point Golf Club on Kiawah Island.

The Cobras starting five is headlined by returners Will Bundy and Blake Baysden. Bundy, a sophomore finished last season with a 76.7 scoring average in 16 rounds. Baysden, a junior finished last season with a 78 scoring average in 20 rounds of play. Rounding out the traveling five will be junior transfer John Duke and the freshman duo of Alex Rios and Jonathan Sundstrom.

The Navy and Yellow have finished in the top 10 at the Kiawah Island Invitational the last two seasons, including a solo 3rd place finish in 2012.

Tee times will be begin on Monday morning at 7:30.
