Coker Golf in 10th After Day One at Spring Kickoff

FLEMING ISLAND, FLA. – After two rounds and 36 holes at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate, the Coker men's golf team is currently in 10th place (of 16) after shooting a team total of 595. 

Josh Clay tallied up 22 pars, and six birdies to shoot a team low 145 (+3) on the day.  His score was good enough to put him tied for 18th place (of 84) individually.  Blake Baysden had the second lowest team score with a 148 (+6).  Baysden's score was also top 25 material after earning 19 pars and four birdies to land him at the 23rd spot.  Christopher Fuga finished the day with a 151, followed closely by Zane Price at 152.  Aaron Beebe then rounded out the field with a 155.    

The final round of the tournament will be 18 holes, and will conclude tomorrow morning with the first group teeing off at 9:00 a.m.
