2013-14: Clay led the Cobras this season with a team low stroke average of 74.1 in 23 rounds.  He also had the lowest individual score of the season, when he recorded an impressive 66 at the Bearcat Invitational on Mar. 22-23.  Clay's play this season was good enough to land him a spot on the second team All-SAC squad, where his individual score ranked amoung the top-10 in the conference.   

2012-13: Clay played in 18 rounds this season for the Cobras, earning a stroke average of 78.2.  His lowest round of the season came at the Kiawah Island Invitational (9/17-18/12) when he shot a 73 in the first round.  Clay was also an Academic All-Conference selection. 

2011-12: Clay played in all 11 tournaments for the Coker men in 2011-12. He had a top five finish and a top 10 finish, posting a 76.2 scoring average. His best round of the year was a one-under-par 71 at the Conference Carolinas Championship.

2010-11: As a freshman Clay competed in six tournaments for the Cobras posting a 77.71 scoring average. His best finish of the year was a tie for first at the St. Andrews vs. Coker dual match. His low round of the year was a one-under-par 71 at the Bearcat Golf Classic.

High School: Clay was a standout, three-sport athlete at Canton Central Catholic, lettering in golf, basketball and tennis. He was an All-County selection in all three sports, was named the All-Ohio Golf Player of the Year and was runner-up for Ohio Athlete of the Year. He won the Disney National Championship, the Myrtle Beach Junior and was second at the AJGA Chicago.

Personal: Son of Paula and Dennis Clay...he has three sisters Megan, Jenna and Taylor...sister Taylor played volleyball for Coker in 2011-12.
