Khalil Halls Scores 18 Points, Cobras Fall to Catawba

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The Coker College men's basketball team fell to the Catawba Indians 106-72 in South Atlantic Conference action on Wednesday (Jan. 9).

Khalil Halls led the way offensively for the Cobras with 18 points, while sophomore Roy Ellis chipped in 14 points. Ellis scored all 14 of his points in the second half, knocking down three of five three-point attempts on the evening. AJ McQuaige also had an impressive stat line, notching nine points with six rebounds, and five blocks.

The Cobras will be back in action on Saturday (Jan. 12) when they travel to face the Tusculum Pioneers in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. Tipoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
