HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's basketball team fell 97-60 to the visiting Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters on Saturday (Jan. 21).
The Cobras held an early 6-3 after a Demarco Jackson layup, however, a 14-0 response by LMU push its lead to 17-6. The Railsplitters continued to keep the momentum on their side, taking a 57-32 lead into the locker rooms at halftime.
Coker was unable to cut into the lead in the final 20 minutes, with LMU taking home the 97-60.
Jalal Abdul-Azeez led the way with 12 points and four rebounds.
The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Jan. 25) when they travel to Catawba. Tip is set for 8 p.m.
