Coker Set to Face Tusculum in Senior Day Showdown

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's basketball team will be back in the friendly confines of the DeLoach Center on Saturday (Feb. 28) to take on the Tusculum College Pioneers in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. Opening tip is slated for 4 p.m. with live stats and broadcast available at www.cokercobras.com.

Saturday will be Homecoming for Coker and senior day for the Coker men's basketball team. Two seniors will be honored prior to tip-off of the men's game. The group includes Gabriel Mens and Errick Bethel.

Bethel continues to lead not only the Cobras in scoring, but also the South Atlantic Conference with his 19.5 points per game. Donte Samuels will look to continue is excellent play of late. His points per game (13.8), field-goal percentage (50.5%) and rebounds per game (5.1) are all inside the top 20 in the SAC.

The Pioneers come to town with a 7-20 overall and a 6-15 in conference record. They are led by Chase Mounce and his 16.3 points and eight rebounds per game.

Tickets are $15 for reserved seats, $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and free for all Coker students, faculty and staff.
