Coker Men Set to Take on Lenoir-Rhyne in SAC Tilt

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 25) at 8 p.m. to take on the visiting Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears. The matchup will take place at the DeLoach Center with live stats and broadcast available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras are led by SAC leading scorer Errick Bethel and his 19.4 points per game. Bethel has scored in double figures in all but three games this season. Donte Samuels will look to continue is statistically solid season. Samuels is in the top-20 in the SAC in points per game with 13.1 points, field-goal percentage at 49.7 percent shooting from the floor and rebounds per game averaging 5.1 rebounds per contest. Trey James and Jalen Watson are also inside the top-20 in SAC rebounding, pulling down seven and 5.3 rebounds per game. Trey Marshall's 2.3 steals a game is best in the conference along with his fifth-best 3.6 assists per game.

The Bears hit the road with an 8-16 overall record and a 6-14 in conference record. They are led by Will Perry who is averaging 15.7 points per game.

Coker will also be hosting First Responders Appreciation Night on Wednesday. First-response personnel such as fire, police, and emergency medical service workers, and their families, are invited to the men's and women's basketball games and will receive free admission.

Tickets are $15 for reserved seats, $5 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for students, and free for all Coker students, faculty and staff.
